“in hope of changing their fate”

A painting by Amanda Blake, an artist whose work I just love.

I love the longing and mystery infused in all of her work. I could stare at this forever and come to different conclusions every other moment. Gorgeous. (I could have made a smaller file, but I didn’t want to. The details, the details …..)

  1. Beautiful. I wasn’t familiar with her work, so thanks for introducing me. I was fascinated with the arrows scattered around and finally found the woman shooting them in the far left corner. Lots of little discoveries to make.

  2. Rae – It took me a while to find the archer too. I keep wondering what her purpose is. Like, is she good or bad or? I mean, it’s easy to assume she’s bad somehow, but I’m undecided and I LOVE that.

I have questions/ideas about every single element. It’s a mystery with a million possible solutions — all of them right.

She said it took her 2 years to finish this. LOVE it so much.
