Ooh, I like this site. You can go to that page and dress ’em up. Favorite literary characters. Hollywood icons. Famous ballet dancers. I just find it soothing from time to time, clicking on the different outfits. Plus, I think the artwork on the dolls is just plain ol’ fun. (You can also order the paper dolls, if you like.)

And since I don’t want any of the fellers feeling left out …. here’s, well, Nijinsky for you …before he went insane (or maybe not). Hahahaha!
These are to die for. Emma’s dress is … spectacular.
I LOVE THIS.
red — the site has some really beautiful designs. Not your ordinary paper dolls!
I have already spent 40 minutes in there! I feel like a costume designer.
I am in love with Jo March’s dresses.
See? It’s addictive. Ooh! I haven’t looked at Jo’s dresses yet. Guess where I’m going next?
Oh, those are beeeeaautiful. Can’t decide if I like the black and white number best OR the sleek overcoat with the plaid peeking out underneath. I think I like the plaid.
Okay. Amy March’s little artist smock and hat are killing me. That doll is pretty darn cute.
Also … the Catherine from Northanger Abbey doll. I’ve never read that book, but her HAIR! It’s hilarious. I love it! Does anyone know if that character actually has corkscrew pasta hair??
Estella … the profile on her. The artist totally captures her haughtiness.
(I am now reviewing paper dolls. What have I become??)
Oh … the Hillary Clinton doll is CRACKING me up. PUH-LEAZE! The artist gave her, like Tea Leoni’s face AND body — with those perky boobins and petite calves. And then that outfit right next to the doll. UGH. Unless he took that from something she actually wore. It seems a real misstep. Everything else seems vaguely Jackie O to me.
Hahaha. Okay. Someone please go look at these things. Save me from just sitting here continuing to review paper dolls.
Catherine from Northanger Abbey–I love how her posture mirrors her silly hysterics. Even the hair!
Yeah, what was up with the Hillary Clinton doll!? Hips-B-Gone and Pepto Pink. I’d think she’d be upset to be depicted so. . . so. . . BARBIE-like.
I never got past Adrian.
So fabulous – the best part of “The Women” is the Technicolor Adrian fashion show.
Saving these for when I have time to savor.
I love all the historical costumes. And “Jane Hare” makes me crack up.
but…the “banana hammocks” on some of the guys are more than a bit frightening. (The Ricky Martin figure – called “La Vida Loca Latino” on the site but I’m guessing that’s who it’s meant to be. Scary.)
