From a favorite of mine, Czech artist Alphonse Mucha
Happy April to you!
(Don’t forget to “spring forward” tonight!)
10 Replies to “good morning!”
Oh, no! The dreaded week of clock-change fatigue! But thanks for the reminder.
If I may, ’cause I’m so proud
– our school advanced in One-Act Play competition, and all our cast members received one of the acting awards – including best actor. That went to a young man, who’s a hugely talented singer and musician, but who had never acted before last fall. Our directors rock… Woo Hoo! Go Mustangs – on to Area!
Tracey – I got to listen to the judge give his critique to the cast/crew and was thinking how terrific you’d be at that. Creative, appreciative of their efforts and of what they were trying to accomplish, and positive in your suggestions for improvement. Who wouldn’t want to be critiqued by the “it’s espresso, topped with (Death! SAY IT, Tracey!)” lady?
Well, I learned something! I thought the USA changed clocks the same week as Europe, ie the last Saturday in March (which was last week for us). But I guess not…
But — how GREAT for your school and those actors! Congratulations to ALL! Oh, I can just feel the thrill they must all be feeling — and that is so wonderful, really! And the guy who’d just started acting — wow! You know, sometimes, people just stumble into it and are swept off their feet by how fulfilling it all is.
And Sue, SOMEDAY, I want to hear the story of how you ended up in Cyprus. It all seems so exotic to me ….
I love Mucha. That’s a beautiful painting…I don’t think I’ve seen it before. Do you know what it’s called? Love, love, LOVE art nouveau work like that.

Hahahaha, Sal! I wish I would’ve just SAID it.

Bruce — Interestingly enough, I believe it’s called “Dusk,” but I’ve always thought it looks more like a sunrise.
PS — Are you going to tell us about Jane Eyre or WHAT?! 😉
I did! Didn’t I?
Did you FINISH it? Last I heard, you were nearing the end or did I miss something??
Okay, you DID comment on that older post, but I just saw it! So the question is:
Will you be recommending it to your friends at work!? 😉
Well…yeah! It’s a good book!
Seriously though, what was up with the cyborg? I didn’t understand that part at ALL.
Oh, Bruce ….. don’t break my heart …. I saw that episode of “Friends,” too …
