It’s a Dutch movie called Bride Flight that I randomly watched on Netflix the other day. It didn’t entirely work for me, but these two worked for me. (Plus, look at him. Good God. He’s gorgeous.)
She is supposed to get on the bus here, obviously. She doesn’t. She stays with him. (There’s more to that scenario.) But I love her angst and his quiet relief. You can literally see him taking in a deep breath in frame 4 and letting it go in frame 5. His little smile. I love his little smile.
I watched this sequence over and over and decided I had to screenshot it. So much with so little. I love that.
I haven’t seen it but your screengrabs are completely intriguing. The blonde woman’s face is heartbreaking to me.
