Troy Aikman: Well, he should have saw that.
You know, at first, I didn’t agree, Troy. I mean, I watched the play and did not see how he could have saw that. But on replay, yeah, duh, he totally should have sawn that.
Those kinds of stupid mistakes are SO embarrassing, aren’t they, Troy Aikman?
As many concussions as Troy has had, I’m frankly surprised they’ll put him on television. God bless him, he was a great QB, but he’s gotta be pretty scrambled upstairs. And I’m a humongous Cowboys fan (although I love the Chargers, too).
Geez, my son and I were just getting over the game and you had to bring up Troy’s comment. Although I can’t remember what it was in reference to, probably something that Romo missed… don’t even get me started on his play that game!!
Uhm, y’all better SHUT UP ABOUT TROY! GraD! You trrrrAITOR! And tracey! You’re supposed to be my FRIEND!
Troy is one of the best color commentators the game has. So he doesn’t speak English too well–that’s what you get from a UCLA education.
Y’all are on probation. I’m not even gonna talk to y’all for, like, ten minutes. Saw THAT!
sarahk — Yamahama! I’m skeered! Okay, I have SAWN you!!
I didn’t say anything bad about Troy Aikman. His GRAMMAR sometimes sucks, but, otherwise, I enjoy listening to him.
Okay, let’s calm down here… Please! This is supposed to be a happy occasion. Let’s not bicker and argue over who, uh, made fun of a certain color man, who mangled the past participle of the verb “saw”…
Well, it WOULD HAVE BEEN (conditional perfect tense for those keeping score) a happy occasion had both San Diego (noting your most recent post)and Dallas won, but a 2-2 record is no reason to give up on either team:
Ms. Tracey, did not the Chargers with a 4-8 record, late in the season, become the first team to go on to a conference champion game with an 8-8 record?
Mrs. Fleming, did not Tony Romo, late in the season… eh, I got nothing, Tony has never done anything good late in the season.
But the two teams meet Dec. 13, which, I predict, will be a critical game for both teams… having noted that I get first dibs on a bet between you, Tracey and I… I’ve been a Cowboys fan since before SarahK was born after all.
I like Troy better than the rest. He leaves all of the superlatives out of his commentary. That, alone, earns him a pass on his seensaws.
I’m afraid LT’s best days are behind him.
Sarah K nailed it. It is the UCLA education. I went to the OTHER school. You know…the one across town where we learned to “have seen” things as opposed to “have saw” them.
So really, he started out scrambled. The concussions were just…extra.
Rob – well, LT did retire fifteen years ago. Give the poor guy a break. As for LDT, I agree… running backs age perilously fast in the NFL. Look at Shaun Alexander, for example. Yikes.
I may have just made Tracey throw up. Sorry, that was a blindside shot.
