“Hey, what happened to The Best Thing Ever, US edition?”
Well, pippa. Just too much stress-eroo going on behind the scenes here to do that this time around. But thank you for asking and even noticing that, uhm, it’s not happening.
There’s always The Best Thing Ever, England, next June/July!
We’ll just have to muddle through until then.
Again, though, thank you for your query!!
I would have queried but after the exhaustion caused my sporting brain by the Olympics, I didn’t even think about the US Open until today when I heard someone saying that the finals were rescheduled because of the hurricane. And then, of course, I thought of you.
And there could always be a Best Thing Ever: Australia in January. I would say Best Thing Ever: France, but well… let’s just all agree it’s creme brulee and be done with it.
sarahk — True. I could do either the French or Australian Open. Mix it up a bit. 😉
At this point, I would like to congratulate my lovely and talented sister, Jane Eyre, for her victory in the Best Thing Ever: US. It must have been a great relief to her not to have to become American for the duration of the tournament.
