diffuser thingies

Sheila, here they are! Cool diffuser thingies from Pottery Barn!

This one comes in three scents: Orange Blossom, Chocolate Truffle, or Neroli Spice(??) $34. (Uhm, what is Neroli and what does it smell like?)

This one comes in Lavendar or Grapefruit. $26.99

Mmmmmmmm. I like the sound of the Orange Blossom and Grapefruit ones.

  1. sheila — I think the sticks just soak up the oil and make everything smell yummy. I think I saw something like these in a store a few years ago and I think that’s how they worked. I just remember that they smelled gooood. I like how they look kinda decorative, like, “Hey, my house don’t stink. This is decoration, baby.”

Jayne — Me too! I love anything citrusy!!

  2. I love these things! Though I am a bit picky about scent. 🙂 I have a bamboo scented diffuser that I received as a gift last Christmas– I love it– and it is only about half used at this point. I’d say over a year of use for $30 isn’t too shabby a deal.

  3. SarahR — Wow! Do they really last that long? That’s great!

Sal — Your comments keep going into moderation, but I figured it out and I think I fixed it! YAY for me. (Seriously, that is a big deal.) Neroli is patchouli’s first cousin? Ew. Thanks for the heads up. I cannot stand patchouli — the smell actually makes my eyes water. Are they just trying to dupe us with a different name here??

  4. Orange Blossom does sound yum. (I think that also was the pseudonym for the girlfriend of the guy who wrote the single men’s perspective column for Cosmo and had to retire b/c he decided to marry her!)

I’d love to have some good scents going 24/7 (non-electrically) thanks to my neighbors’ stinky cooking–so do any of you have pets and/or think this would be safe from my cat? My cat’s already notorious for attacking flower arrangements.
