  1. So that’s what cats look like when they’re plotting someone’s doom. . .

(BTW Is it just coincidence that I first heard of Cute Overload today courtesy of an e-mail from Hallmark, and now I’m seeing pictures here?)

  2. Kate — I dunno. I’ve known about Cute Overload for awhile. But it must be used judiciously … it IS an overload of cuteness. It’s like cheesecake or something — small bites, small bites.

Traumatized Kitty … that face, those huge huge eyes. But then the other cat, “Enjoy it now, poochie. Someday — I KILL you.”

But what’s with the dude just sitting there letting this domestic violence transpire right under his nose, while he eats — what is it? — ice cream or something?

“Oh, ho-hum. My dog is eating my cat. Whatevs.”

  3. I LOVE Cute Overload.

That picture is making me laugh like crazy. The kitten’s expression – he’s all like, “I cannot believe this is happening. This is totally going to show up in my nightmares later. I am going to be talking about this in therapy for a long long time.”

  4. HA! look at the big cat’s cranky eyes. It’s like he’s all: been here, done this before, oh boy, not THIS again! grrrr

    He’s TOTALLY over it.

and the kitten is seeing the horror for the first time.

    I can’t stop laughing!

  5. Kitten – Gee, this is nice… I can see much better from up here. What’s this sticky stuff in the bowl? Hey, Fluffy… do you know wha – HOLY !$#%^$^!

Spot – Tht fuff iff cawwed ‘rife.’

Fluffy – Lemme get back to you in five minutes, kid.

  6. Hysterical.

The look on the cat’s face. I’ve seen it before. That’s just what Simba looked like when Gracie would put doll clothes on him. He wouldn’t run away–he would just sit there all patient with that look on his face. Like, “Can we be done with this now?”
