name that …

Well, yesterday WAS Halloween, after all. And you’re supposed to be someone else, right?

Okay. So here I am, sophomore year in college, playing … who? In … what? Any guesses?

(Oh, and I’m on the left. We do not speak of the person on the right. She is simply She Who Must Not Be Named. You may, on the other hand, laugh freely about THOSE BANGS! Plus, I look like a bobblehead.)

  1. It’s not The Fantasticks, is it??

I know you did that show – but … I think there’s only ONE woman in it, typically.

    okay, I’ll stop guessing now.

  2. Hahaha! “Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd” is HILARIOUS! Brian — I’m like 18 in this pic! A little too young for Mrs. Lovett. What I wouldn’t give to play that part, though. I love her.

Okay …. dundunhdunhhh ….. RED is correct!

It’s LUISA in The Fantasticks. We were just oh-so-modern, so Luisa had a mother instead of a father. Hey, it wasn’t my idea.

(How I WISH I could have had a father instead! She Who Must Not Be Named must not be named for a reason. Very icky person.)

Stay tuned for more pics from The Fantasticks. I’m working on some posts about it. I fell DESPERATELY in stupid love with the guy who played Matt. See my eyes? They’re all gooey and dreamy for a reason. I tell you this: I am thinking of him in this picture. I’m sure of it. What an idiot. I look at my face back then and LAUGH and then … shiver a little bit …

    Hahahaha!

    Lunatic.

  3. How about a hint next time?: ‘This production was altered for PC purposes.’
I was wondering if you were, perhaps, on drugs, but a big crush would explain.

“Les Mis” is rolling right along. One of my sewing moms snuck into rehearsal, and asked
me later “Are they really THAT good? ‘Cause I was actually tearing up.” Yes, they are.

  4. I got it right??

    That is so hysterical!!

I did that show, too – and we had the fathers be mothers as well – not for PC purposes, but usually cause there are so many more women in theatre departments than men.
