Our deck — not a great angle, but it’s pretty huge:
Our kitchen/dining room. I love the dining area. I love the kitchen, but I do not like the counter/cabinet combo. Way too blah. Will be doing something about that ASAP. I love the floor, though. And look! You walk out the sliding door to eat al fresco on the deck! Weeee!
Our living room. (The carpet looks a weird color in this shot. Oh well.) Look! You can see our “front porch”!
We move on the 26th!
Oh my gosh, it is beautiful. I can’t wait for you to start your adventure!
Can you adopt me so I can live there? It’s gorgeous!! 🙂 Enjoy!!
Looks like a dreamy place to live.
Got some room in the backyard for a few yurts?
You have been given the gift of solitude….how wonderful ! It looks so peaceful.
This looks like a great house! I can’t wait to hear about your new adventures, or, your non-adventures.
Beauty. May you have many happy years there!
Very cool! Does the fireplace work? It looks like a great area to hang out (when you’re not on the deck!). Best wishes for a fuss-free move.
Oh it looks so nice!!
Such a nice house! I would love to not have neighbors!
Thanks, everyone! Taking a breather here from the nonstop packing to say this:
YES! There is plenty of room in the backyard for yurts! The backyard is basically woods. It’s undeveloped au naturale!
We do have neighbors, though. There is a house next door but I have yet to see anyone there on our visits up there. Also, we can see the house behind us — off a ways in the distance. It is a little neighborhood around us — just a little mountain neighborhood.
