And my VCR stopped taping just before she skated so I missed it. Not everyone can stay up till midnight. It would be nice to have some real time coverage during the day.
i think someone needs to instruct the adorable and extremely talanted miss cohen to close her mouth when she smiles. something about her over-zelous grin makes her look too competitave, not enjoying herself, just wanting to win. yucky.
but she is cute, mostly, and of course, her skating is amazing.
i actually started feeling guilty about writing that about the wee-miss sasha. (what if she reads here.) when i watched her last night i did not notice the smile. what i noticed is that even with her mistakes she has a way of skating that is more graceful and lovely than anyone else there.
the japanese girl (whose name i can’t remember) was fantastic though, and so poised. it was great to see her break in to such a huge smile.
