For your iced coffee needs!
Here’s a link to a toddy maker very similar to the one we used at The Beanhouse when we made smaller batches of toddy — usually for decaf. This would be good for home use, I think, just looking at it. I have not personally used this, but I’ve used ones that look nearly identical.
If Ladybug likes iced coffee so much, she might really like to have this on hand.
In fact, I think I want to get one, now that summer’s almost here. YUM.
The Toddy got me through my senior year of college.
It’s SO good, isn’t it?
It was good and very versatile. I just bought some Autocrat coffee syrup to try, it’s the official state beverage of Rhode Island. I’m sure Sheila knows this stuff.
Brilliant! I was also looking at one that the local Borders Books was selling in their little Seattle’s Best outlet. A primary selling point is to ensure that the decanter is solid enough not to crack with incidental contact.
Tracey, this is so sweet of you to think of my best girl like this. A bushel of thanks, blogfriend!
NF — You’re welcome! My pleasure.
You could drain the toddy into anything really. It just “unplugs” on the bottom and drains — so if you wanted to use something unbreakable, you could. Just make sure the filter part balances well on top of it.
