I thought of you when I checked the scores last night. . . well, they did a good job getting this far. (Still holding my breath for my hometown team.) Do you keep watching the games even if your team’s done?
I do, but I won’t be able to root for the Steelers for the rest of the season — and I actually like the Steelers. Just the way I roll. Once a team beats us in the playoffs, they are on my blacklist for the rest of the season. Next season starts with a clean slate, though, unless a team is one perpetually on my blacklist. There are a couple of those.
It’s such a bummer since at the start of the season, every single sports talking head was saying, “The Chargers will be in the Superbowl; the Chargers will be in the Superbowl.” We have such a good team if you just look at the personnel, but it didn’t happen. Rough year.
