We’re into a second generation of that, too.
Goodnight Moon was big in with my family when my little sister was a toddler. And now my close friend’s little boy is deeply attached to it. A classic. Funny how it lends itself to complete memorization and recitation! My older sister and I read it to the younger so often that we would compete to see who could recite it more fully and accurately.

…and they are going to stare at me and blink a few times and then go scurry off to play when they realize my speech is not being followed by treats. 😉
