“I Believe in a Thing Called Love” – The Darkness
Comes out to between 30 and 40 minutes. Heavy on the Guns and Roses and Aerosmith, as you can see. Uhm, so I have a crush on Joe Perry, so what, okay???
Please tell me you do the hand movements to “I Would Die 4 U.” I mean, how can you NOT? I do them even while driving.
I love that Celine Dion version of the song, you’re so right!
Lisa — I don’t think I know all the hand movements! And then I worry that my neighbors can see me, through their hedge, 10 feet above them on the second floor, jumping and dancing around on that thing. If they watch, it must look pretty funny. “There’s her head …. there’s her head …. there’s her head.” I love my trampoline.
sheila — It totally gets me moving — and I love how it builds at the end.
Cool mix! I’m not familiar with the Celine Dion version, but my friend got me into the one that Erasure did.
And did anyone notice when “I Believe in a Thing Called Love” was popular on the airwaves, some men had a knee-jerk hatred of the falsetto? Maybe it was just in my neck of the woods. I think it’s a great song.
