Ladidah to you, too.
I’m going to keep repeating this until you pay attention.

Hi~~Happy new year~~. Though I’m not quite sure what LAHDIDAH is, I wish all your dreams can come true in 2008. I’m a Chinese girl in Beijing.(sure you know where beijing is…don’t you?) I come across your blog for I was searching for info. about stenograph things. Hoho. Are you still working on it? And I want you know that your blog is very interesting!!
Helen — Hi! Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comment. Lahdidah is just a nonsense phrase, really. I think only a person’s tone of voice gives it meaning. It can be used in lots of situations, I guess, when you don’t know what to say. It’s just silly.
As to the steno machine, no, I’m not working at that anymore, but I know a great deal about it, so if you have any questions, feel free to email me.

And Happy New Year.
Thank you, Sal. That is so sweet of you.
I love this – and ladidah is very inspiring to me. A new year’s resolution for life!

When I was a little grub
I went and asked my Mom
What things the New Year might bestow
And she said this to me
Lah-di-dah, di-dah
Whatever will be, will be
(I wish that I knew the words
This would be a lot more funn-y)
But lah-di-dah, di-dah
Keep singing along with me
The New Year’s a lark, you see
Lah-di-dah, di-dah
(And a lovely picture that is, Tracey.)
Gorgeous. Thank you for sharing this!
NF — Hahaha! Lemme help you out:
Lah-di-dah, di-dah
Whatever will be, will be
The future’s not ours to see
Lah-di-dah, di-DAHHHH!!
That is the perfect song for me for 2008 — you have NO idea. 😉
Marisa — Thank you. That means a lot coming from you.
