Daniel Radcliffe, aka Harry Potter, is starring in Peter Shaffer’s Equus in London. He gets nekkid and parents are upset — because Harry Potter’s a role model, you see.
Parents, please. Calm thyselves. Are your little kids even going to see this play? I mean, they probably shouldn’t. It’s not for little kids; it’s for adults. And, by the way, why is HARRY POTTER, a fictional character, a role model for your kids? How about YOU being their role model? I mean, for instance. Or some other real live person? And if you’re gonna get all pissed off because he’s naked in the play — uhm — read the play. You might as well know everything. After all, wouldn’t want you to miss out on the full expression of your outrage that some actor playing a part is letting your little Timmy down.
“There is now, in my mouth, this sharp chain. And it never comes out.”
Man. I need to read this play again.
Gasp! He’s trying to stretch his abilities and grow as an actor! STOP HIM! (GREAT title, btw!)
I know, I’m about to be lambasted because I’ve never jumped on the “all things Harry Potter” bandwagon. I’m not for or against, I’m just Switzerland. So, I had no idea how old he is in real life. Old enough to drop his drawers, evidently.
I did see the dining hall in Oxford that they used to film all the, well, dining hall scenes in HP. And the restaurant were J.K. Rowling used to work in Edinburgh. That’s about all I know.
I guess those people didn’t watch him on Extras Sunday night. They wouldn’t have appreciated him flinging a condom onto Dame Diana Rigg.
I personally just can’t believe the six-pack abs I’ve now seen on Harry Potter in some of the publicity shots for Equus. When did THAT happen??
I know, Sheila. I just googled “Equus” and I think I saw Harry Potter’s wand. Daaaaang.
You could tell he’d buffed up for the fourth movie – I could believe the abs. The wand, I prefer to never mention nor speak of ever again.
Uhm, yeessss. He’s looking rather well, I think.
WOW! The abs…the arms. He looks…uhhhhm, very un-Harry-like.
Anyway, good for him…to grow in his career. Harry Potter should be the beginning for him, NOT the end.
Get over this people…he is appearing in a play…it is art. He is NOT appearing in Playgirl!
