our bus

For the Sudden Yurt Commune, yo.

I mean, good hippies need a good bus and I’ve found us this one.

It’s knitted and crocheted, pippa. Knitted and crocheted.

Well, one assumes not the actual mechanisms that make the thing run — because which one of us knows how to drive a crocheted bus, I sure don’t — but the outside, the outside sports a nice psychedelic sweater.

I think it fits in nicely to our SYC world, don’t you?

  1. Hey friend. Well, I consider you a friend, you don’t know me. heh. I love your writing and you’re on my reader. I was going to comment on the post that is no more, and just wanted to say, I’m so sorry. I’ve felt that frustration so many times before and it’s a real crapper. You’re awesome, and it sucks that your blog was outed to a bunch of people who you feel judged by. Makes it a lot less fun and a lot more difficult to be honest in your posts, which is why we LOVE you so much. You’re real, funny, open, and great fun to hang out at night after I put my kids to bed. You know, you and the rest of my reader. Don’t let a few snippies bring you down. We think you’re awesome, and hey, aren’t “we” the only ones who really matter? Think much of ourselves Jess? Why yes, yes we do I think.

  2. I’m with Jess. I get your RSS feed as well, and I read your deleted post. If people in a church are THAT weird, then that’s no church… at least, not in the sense that Jesus would see it.

I love you bunches. There ARE real, decent Christians out there.

  3. Cool! It’s like a giant knitted/crocheted bus cozy. And I like how the location of our SYC is in code. Or is that Korean?

(P.S. I read the deleted post, too, and thought of you many times while at church this weekend.)
